Always attentive to the evolution of 50cc 2T motard and off-road motorcycles, Polini Motori dedicates to this range of vehicles a line of For Race exhaust systems consisting of 7 different models developed to be adapted to motorcycles: Aprilia, Beta, Derby, Gilera , Rieju, Sherco, Yamaha, HM and Vent. They are exhaust systems intended for the after market designed and developed for the characteristics of liquid-cooled engines. They adapt perfectly to the shapes of the various types of frames and guarantee good performance, power optimization at every rotation speed and great reliability. The expansion was developed to make the most of the performance of both the original and upgraded engines. Final silencer in black anodized aluminum. MUFFLERS POLINI PI 387 Wash the vehicle and remove the original muffler. Assemble the muffler support (see assembly diagrams) and, starting with the exhaust manifold, fit the new system by inserting the new gasket (when present) between the flange and the manifold. Be careful not to fully tighten the nuts on the studs, thus leaving the correct clearance for mounting the bracket on the crankcase or frame (refer to the assembly diagrams according to the bracket and scooter model). Screw or fit the silencer onto the exhaust and secure it with the clamp. Check the correct inclination of the exhaust curve and the alignment of the muffler and tighten all the bolts, starting from the manifold attachment on the cylinder. Start and warm up the vehicle's engine and check for gas leaks. MAINTENANCE - Periodically check the correct tightening of all nuts and bolts. Clean the muffler with car detergents and, only for unpainted models, after cleaning, treat the muffler with a cloth moistened with oil or a protective lubricant spray.
