The piston in question is made through the shell casting and produced in ITALY.The secondary alloys of Aluminum -Silicon 18% -Magnesium 1% -Nickel 1% are used

 

(AL-SI18 MG1-NI1), having a reduced coefficient of thermal expansion that allow to reduce the tolerances between piston and cylinder for optimized use at all temperatures.

 

All pistons are subjected to stabilization heat treatment.

 

The piston skirt is worked with diamond tools, according to original profiles and ovalizations.

 

The nominal size punched on the piston head refers to the cylinder with zero tolerance

 

The arrow punched on the head indicates the exhaust gas port.

 

The piston already has its centesimal tolerance less, calculated on the basis of the thermal expansion of the material and on the characteristics of the motor and the cylinder.

The piston is supplied with CABER SEGMENTS, high quality ITALIAN product, pin and rings or seeger.
